Belle won Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex at the San Antonio March 03 Spring Cluster Dog Show - pictured at left at 2 years old; Breeder/Owner Handled from the Bred by Exhibitor Class with Judge Mr. Patrick Doniere. It is with a very heavy heart that I post that this was the last photo we got to take with Mr. Doniere. He gave Belle a reserve to a major in Lake Charles the day after Mrs. Judy Doniere gave her the major - Belle decided not to behave for him and didn't earn his win. He passed away June 12th 2003 of a cranial annurism. Mr. Doniere was an Icon in the sport of pure bred dogs and he will be sorely missed. |

Belle is pictured below with me and judge Mrs. Polly Smith - winning her remaining points for her AKC championship at home here in San Antonio! Best of Winners over the boys and Best of Opposite Sex. I am very proud of this girl - she is my first home bred champion. I wish she had opened her eyes for the picture but you can't have it all sometimes - I'll take the win instead :o). |
